A Grateful Reflection on Pride Month as a Photographer

June 2nd, 2026

🌈 Happy Pride Month 🌈

As Pride Month begins, I’ve been reflecting on how grateful I am for the incredible support, encouragement, and trust I’ve received throughout my career.

Being able to show up authentically as myself—both personally and artistically—is something I never take for granted. Every couple who invites me into their lives, every client who trusts me to tell their story, and every person who chooses to support my work has played a part in making that possible.

The weight of that trust is not lost on me. Photographing some of life’s most meaningful moments is an honor, and I am deeply grateful for every person who has stood in front of my camera and allowed me to preserve their memories.

To my LGBTQ+ couples and clients, and to the countless allies who have supported me along the way: thank you. Your kindness, encouragement, and belief in my work have helped create a space where love can be celebrated openly, authentically, and without apology.

This Pride Month, I’m celebrating you—the couples who trust me, the clients who support me, and the community that continues to show up for one another. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of documenting your stories and for giving me the freedom to express myself through the art I love.

I am honored. I am grateful. And I am proud to be part of this community. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
